I stopped at Bear River State Park on my way home from Larry’s funeral to photograph my friends the elk. One elk stuck his tongue out at me. Sheesh. I got a great photo of a magpie with a seed. I tried to photograph the bison as well, but the old bull had died, and the new young bull they had put with the herd charged the fence every time I pulled my camera out even when I walked away from him and tried to photograph some of the cows, so I left them alone. I mean, the double fence and the electricity looked sturdy enough, but I wasn’t about to give the bull a chance to test it. Oh well.
